Hello girls! Before I start blabbing I would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped me and supported me with my blog the last three months! October 2014 was when I decided to start it so this year was a special one for me! So for my last post of my best year yet I have put together an outfit showing you my four favourite trends from our AW14 season! I hope you enjoy it!

Well well well hasnt this winter been a fabulous one! We have seen some of the best trends yet! And they've all been so sassy and smart! One of my favorites though has been all the faux fur and feathers that have filled our shops! The fur colar, the fur handbag, the fur headband, the fur coat, we have even seen fur shoes! Its been amazing, such a cosy girly trend! In this post Im wearing one of my great sale finds from river island! And yes, its a fur top! Its so incredibly soft, I just fell in love when I saw it! And of course its not just fur, its monochrome patterned fur! Monochrome has been so in this winter, although it never really goes off trend, this winter there has been some really incredible pieces all over the shops!

I absolutely love a monochrome outfit with a tiny pinch of pink in it! I got this pink "shimmer" slogan clutch for Christmas from my sister! And gosh was I glad to have this one as i had been lusting over it for about two months prior to then! It is such a pretty blush pink and on the other side is is entirely sparkles! such a fabulous piece for an addition to my party collection!!

Moving on to the jeans! I havnt had my pair of ripped jeans for long but honestly they have been on trend for a while and our favourite shops, brands and designers have blown it out of the water with this years pairs! They have been more edgy than we have ever seen them and this time we have made them one of our main party season pieces! The ripped jeans have always been seen with those slogan tee's and those trusty converse! But you girls have decided to get out your glamorous courts, your platforms and your loafers and style those ripped jeans UP instead of DOWN! And boy have they look incredible!! Here im wearing a pair from Topshop, a trusty black pair! And I have teamed mine with some Topshop loafers!

The loafers and brogues have also made their way back this year! And as soon as I saw these it was love at first sight!! I have loved being able to add that little bit of PREP to my outfits recently. But these loafers have given the preppy trend and more sassy style with that gold chain!

So there it is my The English Rose's last post of 2014! All my favorite trends put together in one famously fabulous outfit!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
See you next year!

Hello my lovely readers! I hope your all having a fabulous New Years Eve! And have your best outfits on! Im just going to do a little post tonight as I know you wont have time to read one of my huge stories about all the amazing clothes im wearing!

Firstly, Dorothy Perkins has been a complete gold mine this past year! I have found so many amazing pieces in there, its just such a great high street shop! I found these beautiful red shoes a few weeks ago and I just couldnt resist buying them! Of course they are possibly the only colour pair of shoes i dont already own, and really every girl needs some red ones... annnddd some blue ones, some pink ones, so yellow ones... okay we can see where this is going hehe! Anywayyyy... They literally look so incredible with this fabulous Topshop Turtle neck I snapped up in the sales! The bright colours in the top are already amazing alone but Its me, so.. This outfit just like any, had to have some added sas! And that my friends was my red shoes! Although normally im not a fan of too many colours in one outfit, I really loved this!

Its still looking rather festive with the red, but the top is moving away from that Christmas theme and giving the shoes a different edge! Dont forget if your feeling like you need to pull together a colour thats not quite found its place in your outfit, Lipstick is always a great way to do that! I have just popped on some of my favourite Barry M matte red lipstick and these colours look like they have always belonged together!!

I cant finish a post without mentioning the jeans.. But the only thing i can really say is that EVERY girl needs some ripped jeans in their wardrobe! They put a really funky spin on any outfit!!

Happy New Year,

The English Rose

Fabulous In Felt With Fluff...

Hi guys!! Hope everyone is looking forward to New Year! I definitely am, NEW year NEW things! hehe! I have done a lovely post today, one of my favourites for a while! mostly because I am wearing the Topshop felt hat I got for Christmas!!

This hat is by far the nicest one i have seen anywhere, I had been looking for one that was a little different, not just black, and as i already wear alot of monochrome inspired outfits this burgundy red hat was the perfect hint of colour for me! In the sales a few days ago I set my eyes on this gorgeous blouse in Topshop, its so flattering as it has two layers of frills that fall diagonally across the front! Cream blouses are a must, just like black ones you cant go wrong with them! You can dress them up or down and never fail to look spot on! I would say I have dressed mine down into more of a daytime lux vibe! The blouse is a chiffon material so the woolen check scarf and the faux fur bag are great accessories to give the top a more casual look. I'm in love with my scarf which I also received as one of my many lovely Christmas prezzies! Its so soft and because its very simple being black and white, it goes with everything I own! Of course I'm not going to leave out my B-E-A-UTIFUL shoes! I did leave a few sentences about them already on my last post, but they do deserve
a few more words to be said! I have been living in them since I bought them, they are so truley comfortable! Topshop's shoe collection at the moment is just incredible!!

Thank you for reading,

Stars are Calling...

Leggings: New Look

Hello Girls! Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas Day!
I have to share all of these fabulous new buys with you all! I came across this over-sized jumper in river island on Christmas Eve and i just couldn't resist it! With the word 'Star' written in french across the front i fell in love even more! Its such a lovely soft knit as well and when its on it floats beautifully! Buying this lovely winter white jumper meant i was in major need of some tartan leg sas!

I found my pair of tartan leggings in New Look! They were only 12.99 which was absolutely amazing! the burgundy and blue checks make them look a bit purple as well which
I love!! Obviously this outfit needed some added punk rock and what better to create that vibe with than some Topshop peep toe shoe boots! I cant even explain the obsession i have with these shoes they just look so amazing on and they are so so comfortable as they are real leather! They were fairly expensive but they are so worth it!

Cant forget a bit this fabulous fluffy bag from River Island I received to day as one of my sassy Christmas presents! Its so yummy and soft as well its like carrying a baby husky around with me hehe! As you all know its all about the fluff this Autumn/ Winter season so why don't you pick yourself up a fluffy accessory before this incredibly girly trend ends!

Have A Merry Sparkly Christmas....
