Dotty P's Girl at Heart...

Jumper: Dorothy Perkins
Jeans: Dorothy Perkins
Shoes: Dorothy Perkins
Jacket: Dorothy Perkins

Wooooppp! Its finally started! At the beginning of the year I came up with a fabulous idea for my blog! once or twice a month I am going to pick one of my favorite shops to do an entire post on! This one is 100% dedicated to my all time favorite shop, Dorothy Perkins! Most 19 year old's wouldn't give it a second look, and I didn't used to either! But since I started working there just over a year ago I have found that it really is the perfect shop for me! Being a size 12/14 I cant get away with a crop top and joni jeans like most people my age! Which is why you will find my blog is all about staying on trend and dressing to flatter your shape! Dorothy Perkins is always on trend, you just need to know what things to pick and how to put things together! If you haven't already gone a checked out the spring collection then you need to! This white daisy jumper is a piece I chose from the new lines that have been coming in! I'm completely in love with it! So spring like but still keeping me cosy as unfortunately this cold weather isn't going anywhere just yet! The jumper isn't too short and I just thought it was so cute and girly!

Another great thing about Dorothy Perkins I would say is I can always find some shoes I either want or need! Whatever occassion I need them for! I have so many pairs of platforms and stilettos filling my shoe wardrobe, I thought it was about time I got some more classy sensible heals! I chose these 'Toffee' coloured ones as they literally go with everything! I wore them last Friday with some black skinnies and a blue jumper and they just looked so spot on! And... a very sensible heal!

Black shinnies, everyone needs them! But can I ever find any that are skin tight and comfortable as well?! Nope! But I always can in DP'S! I always go for the 'eden' jeggings, They always look fab and are so so comfy! And don't they just look amazing with a lovely pastle shade! I love this jacket, the colour is just amazing as I am such a pastley person it is the perfect little plus 1 to this outfit!

I think its safe to say, I really am a Dorothy Perkins girl at heart!
Thank you for reading, sorry for the S.A.

Barbie vs Geek Chic...

Top: New Look
Jeans: Dorothy Perkins
Bag: River Island
Shoes: Topshop

Nothing says geek chic than some brogues and a pinstripe shirt.. and nothing says 'Barbie' like some sassy shades of pink and purple! In this outfit I have crossed the two, normally im not a huge fan of the 'geek' sort of look, because the colours in most outfits like that can be bland and very subtle! And I like pink and purple and patterns! But recently geek has befriended chic and together they make a snazzy smart outfit! This shirt I found in New Look was just so perfect for this look, Its such a lovely light material and the delicate pin-stripes are so lovely...

Satchel bags are very in, But why don't you venture away from the typical tan shades and go for a girly one! I love my River Island one! This bag and my lovely Barry M lipstick add the perfect girly spin to this preppy little outfit! Don't forget lipstick is a fabulous accessory to any outfit!

Too Classy To Be Cool...

Jumper: Primark
Shirt: Dorothy Perkins
Jeans: River Island
Shoe's: Topshop
Bag: River Island
Key Ring: River Island

Hello girlies! Today I am blogging about one of my favorite things at the moment! The lumberjack shirt! Everywhere is doing them, all different colours! There is one for everyone! I loved this one because i liked the contrast of the navy and the pale pink! I'm absolutely in love with wearing these shirts un-buttoned and with something plain but insane underneath! A plain white t shirt, a slogan tee, thin jumper?! Here I am wearing my new Primark extra thin jumper! It is really long so I have tucked it in here! But its the perfect thing because it kept me so warm today!

Now the trick with a lumberjack shirt is too add some more chic accessories to it! Boots do look great but sometimes they can look a bit cow girl inspired! And that isn't one of the looks I usually go for! So I have popped with it some fabulous fluffiness and my gold linked black pumps! I think it puts a smarted spin of an outfit which could look rather casual!

A Wolf at The Seaside...

Jumper: Dorothy Perkins
Jeans: Dorothy Perkins
Bag: River Island
Shoes: Topshop

Hello my lovelies! Firstly I would just like to explain this posts title in-case your thinking 'what on EARTHHH' haha! I have always said the colour's of the fur in this bag reminds me of a wolf or a husky as they are a grey/ beige colour! And the seaside, well that would be my blue jumper- and I just thought it sounded rather interesting! I hope you have all be shopping about in the new collections everywhere! Adding a few pastel pieces to your winter wardrobes! Because I certainly have been! I am going to be doing a haul with all the bits I have got my hands on in the last few weeks soon so stay tuned for that!

For today I have put together an outfit featuring my new Dorothy Perkins blue knitted jumper and my new Topshop loafers! Now this jumper caught my eye because of the colour! I just love a pastel colour and it actually has tiny sparkles in it as well, so I was just like 'I need this sassy knit in my life' It looks great with all black like I have it here, and it also will look amazing with some white jeans as well! White jeans are in for spring so get your hands on some colourfull knits to go with them!

The loafers I came across in Topshop and before I had even tried them on I was buying them! I have seen a few people with similar pairs the this, they have a gold sort of link on them and Topshop is the first place I have seen them to buy myself some! Black loafers are keeping this outfit in the winter season along with my fabulously snazzy faux fur bag from River Island!!

I hope you have enjoyed today's post!
Happy Monday!

Lots of Love,
The English Rose.

Cape: River Island
Jeans: Dorothy Perkins
Bag: River Island
Shoes: Topshop

Hello my pretties! I hope my very girly inspired outfit has made your wednesday! Its mid week, payday is still over a week away so I thought some spring inspo might cheer you up and get you excited for the new season!

I bought this cape and bag at the beginning of the month and I have been saving them for this exact time in January! I actually first set eyes on the cape and then I saw the bag and I just had to have that as well as they make the perfect team! All these pastle's are thankfully in this spring, and as its still so chilly our highstreet favorites are bringing out spring inspired winter clothing! And everything is just fabulous! The satchel bag is such a handy one to have, its such a good size, its practical and its absolutely gorgeous! You cant go wrong! You must must MUST get your hands on one!

Im absolutely in love with my new Dorothy Perkins sweater top that was featured on my instagram yesterday! Its just such a perfect colour, I love powder blue at the moment! And the white lace detail on the sleeves is so lush as well! Looks just amazing with my favorite coat from this winter! Pastle's all the way with this outfit! Dotty Pink...

Jumper: Dorothy perkins
Jeans: Dorothy Perkins
Bag: Dorothy Perkins
Shoes: Topshop

Hello ladies! Now I have done this particular post as I know this time of year can be a difficult one when it comes to clothes! All the shops are bringing out their spring colours but its still so cold! You feel like with all these new lines you need to be dressing for spring! But you dont! All you need to do is find the right pieces that are still going to keep you cosy, winter isnt over yet!

I found this lovely knitted blush pink jumper with a lace hem in Dorothy Perkins a few days ago! I literally love it! Its that perfect weight and colour to take me through the transition from winter to spring! The satchel  bag is also Dorothy Perkins! And I just loved the two different shades of pink together as the brighter pink makes the outfit feel less like a winter one! And of course I'm wearing my faithful Topshop Leather peep toe shoe boots! Love Love Love this outfit! Get your hands on some springy knits girls to keep on trend, stylish and wrapped up warm!

Lots of Love,
The English Rose
