Autmneutral...

Coat: Zara
Top: Zara
Jeans: Dorothy Perkins
Bag: New Look
Shoes: Topshop

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons for fashion! Mainly because of the colours! You have all your tan and burgundy, then you can also get away with some black and white and a few other neutral colours!

This Zara coat that my hunny bought me for my birthday has been such a fabulous addition to my Autumn/Winter wardrobe this year! Its so versatile, it looks incredible with this blouse I wore (also Zara) and I know it will look just as great in the winter teamed with a cream wollie jumper! Lets face it anything tan in an outfit brings an even more classy vibe!

I feel like Over the last few A/W seasons its has become a lot more acceptable to rock your white skinny jeans all year round! So If you don't have some white jeans as one of your wardrobe staples, get some asap! #NotJustForSummer

Again in this post I'm wearing my fringed bag as I think adding a little fringing brings the flavor to a more simple outfit like this one!

Lady Danger...

Top: Dorothy Perkins
Jeans: Dorothy Perkins
Bag: New Look
Shoes: Converse (Office)

Hey baby dolls! So for this weeks casual outfit post, I decided to share with you on of my new fave things- the checked shirt! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it in Dotty P's! The red and plum shades just look so autumnal! It makes the perfect team with these mid wash denim jeans to create an easy, yet stylish, outfit for those days off when you're off on a cinema date or simply taking a stroll in the park!

I chose white Converse All Stars, rather than a pair of boots, to really add to the casual element of this outfit. These Converse really are a great item to have in your wardrobe as they are soooo versatile and really do tie in with any outfit! Fringing is very much on-trend this season, which is why I've gone for this absolute gem of a bag from New Look to compliment this ensemble! A bag like this really is a staple item of any wardrobe, it goes so well with even the most simple of outfits, such as this one!

//ARTISTRY ALERT//

This makeup look will be over on my 'Artistry' page!
As the occasion of this outfit for me was a date at the cinema with my fiancé, I wanted to go casual. But the use of some gold eye shadow and faithful Mac lipstick makes the outfit feel so much more romantic! The 'Lady Danger' lip shade from Mac Cosmetics really contrasts well with the plum in the shirt, and I find leaving your make up a little more glossy than matte is always a great asset to any outfit meant for a more special occasion than everyday life!

Evolution...

Hey hunnies! Firstly I would like to apologise for the mahoosive gap between this and my last post! I took a little time out as I was thinking up ideas to reinvent my blog! In my time away I also got engaged! WOOOOOP! Although, if you follow me on Instagram you may already know that! Anyyywayyyy, back to it! I have a whole new structure for my blog now, so all you lovely readers will know exactly what I'm posting and when!

I'm going to be creating an 'Artistry' page, consisting of hair and makeup related posts, which will be up for you to view ASAP. It will feature key makeup products I have used in various posts, and explain to you how to get the look I went for! It will also include my top hair tips! This page will basically be your guide on how to use your hair and make up as an accessory to any outfit, the same way I do! There will also be an alert at the bottom of each blog post to let you know if my makeup or hair look is on this page!

In terms of the new structure of my blog, there will be three weekly posts. One of which will cover a more formal outfit, the other a casual outift. The last post each week will be a 'special' which will cover something different each week! Buuuttt you will have to follow The English Rose for more info on that as I post!

Thank you all for reading today! I hope you all enjoy my Blog's makeover as much as I will!

Lots of love,

The English Rose.

June Summer Staples...

These lovely crossover flats form Bargain City, Primark, have to have been one of my main wardrobe staples for the last month! They are so comfortable, the colour is so great for summer and the crossover straps just give them something extra!

If you have never gone a day without a signiture denim jacket in your closet put your hands up?! You just cant go wrong with a denim jacket even with black jeans and a white tee they just look so spot on, casual or sassy whatever you decide!

Next up is yet another one from Primark, You can actually get these like everywhere and I think everyone should have one in heir summer wardrobe! Denim skirts always go down well for summer and this years button up A-Line style is my ultimate favorite denim staple!

I have become a little bit obsessed with these waist coats! So I decided I should get myself a white one! White goes with everything and even with the simplest outfit it can bring it right up to one of the trendiest outfits on the street!

My last essential of June is this Topshop mini bag! A cross body bag is always handy! Whatever colour it may be one just big enough for you girly necessities, these little bags are perfect for summer!

Hey my lovelies hunnies! So today I am bringing you some inspiration for those rainy summers days! Lets be honest, you are only leaving the house in shorts and sandals when its raining if you are a total freak! My advise to you would be to pick a nice bright top or even some bright jeans! Keep your legs away in ya jeans so you don't spoil that layer of fake tan ;) hehe! And go for a pair of cute flats!

Don't actually own any summer/ weather ready flats? - A few weeks ago I was really struggling with wearing anything but sandals or loafers! I though I would venture into primark and hunt around for some bargains and I actually brought 6 different pairs of shoes! These cross over point toe ones that I am wearing I actually brought in two colours purely because I love the style! I love them because they seam to actually be really flattering on my legs! As you know when your in your heals they make anyone look so much slimmer and these little flats do the same thing but without the pain of a killer heal!
