Jacket: Miss Guided
Top: Dorothy Perkins
Shorts: Miss Selfridge
Sandles: Dorothy Perkins
Hey guys, So I thought I would make the most of this last bit of sun with my lovely girly Miss Selfridge shorts! I ordered them online in the sale and they are amazing, They are not fitted which is nice, and they look great dressed up or down! Although there are starting to be some cooler days, still get use out of your shorts, skirts and playsuits and just pair them with a lightweight jacket! Mine was Miss Guided sale but you can get them anywhere!! These jackets also look fab with heals and a party outfit, such a must have as they are completely changeable! Not much to say on the tshirt except you can never go wrong with a printed Tee! Its so easy to create this fashionable look, you just need to combine the right amount of smart and casual! Also these sandals are now in the DP sale, they are fab and so so comfortable, many shops are now doing this style this year but I recommend these as they are really soft!
So hunnies dont put away your legs and sandals yet!!
Thanks for reading!

My Top 20 SS16 Staples...
The Bomber Jacket...
Your bomber jacket should be one of the more dressy ones.. A few shops have started stocking patterened ones! Which I think are a great choice!! I have never really been a fan of them until I started to see the satin ones and then the floral ones, now I think they are a great summer staple!
The Dungarees...
Dungarees are very very vintage in my eyes! But also fabulous with your summer converse and a bright top underneath! Even now when its a bit chilly they look so fab with a thinner knitted jumper underneath!
The converse...
Its going to be summer soon.. so get out your black converse and choose some nice bright ones.. I like to keep my summer wardrobe palette fairly neutral so some pops of colour when it comes to footwear is the perfect option!
The off the shoulder top...
Off the shoulder tops are what its all about this summer! Whether they are those typical figure hugging ones or even the more vintage looking ones! You need one if your going to stay on trend this season!!
The Lace up Flats...
Lace up flats have been around for a few seasons now.. and they aren't going anywhere so you may wan tto update your collection to a more summer friendly one!!
The Denim Skirt...
Denim skirts are always in and out.. this year they are in! I think they are great, especially with a loose linen shirt tucked in and a big brown belt!!
The Sandals...
They go without saying!!! EVERY year!!!
The statement Blouse..
I always think you should update your blouse collection as the colour trends change.. something with a bit of khaki this season and a bold pattern will give you the perfect staple for that modern utility trend that seems to have found its way to our shop floors this season.
The Light Jogger...
Some light casual joggers actually will look perfect for a more relaxed look this summer with a plain tee and some sandals.
The Lace Up Heals...
Always a fabulous option when your going out, with your jeans or your best dress!
The Boho Play-suit...
The Boho trend has started to surface again and I always think a printed play-suit is a great way to pull it off.. slightly more out there than a dress and great even with some ankle boots!
The Sleeveless Jacket...
I actually have so many of these myself.. I think everyone should have at least one! They just look so fab even with a plain round neck top!
The Denim Shirt..
I think most of us have one somewhere in the back of our wardrobes! So get them out girls because they are the perfect team with some white jeans for summer!!
The Summer Bag...
I always think a summer bag should be more neutral so it goes with everything..but you can still be bold with your patterns! I would always recommend River Island for a killer summer bag!
The Smock Dress...
Smock dresses are lovely for summer I think.. they are floaty and go lovely with some converse or even over a bikini at the beach!
The Flared Trousers...
Again floaty.. so nice and cool to wear and I always think they give off a very expensive vibe, whatever they are paired with!
The Floppy Hat...
Who doesn't need a hat for summer? But the bigger the better with summer floppy hats!
The White Jeans...
White jeans are always a summer staple.. and rightly so, they always look so fashionable!
The Crazy Sunglasses...
Go for a crazy shape this summer with your sunnies! They really can be the cherry on top of a more simplified outfit!!

So over winter, So into spring...

Sick of all the winter doom and gloom black on black??? Get out of your black skinny jeans and into your spring ripped denim roll ups! Wipe off that maroon nail polish and pop on some nice pastel shades! Say hello to a new floppy hat, a lighter brighter one! You can still keep cosey in a nice over sized jumper without looking so drib drab! Keep your stylish healed boots and rock them with your more casual looks!
Lots of love,

Pretty In Pregnancy...
Hello, Hello, Hello my lovely hunnies! Happy weekenddddd! I have been feeling the pregnancy stress this week! Unless you are a complete fashion victim like me and you have been pregnant you may not understand just how hard it is to actually shop for clothes that fit when you start to get a bigger bump! And even when you find a shop that sells it, most of it is pretty plane and horrific!
After hunting high and low to find something, anything that is a little bit stylish I came across the joy off ASOS maternity range. It is ENDLESS. So I basically ordered the whole website! Haha just kidding! Once it arrives im going to share all the bits I purchased with you all! But until then I thought I would put together an inspirational outfit for anyone, pregnant or not!

//TOP TIP//
The secret to any fabulous outfit is to only have a few injections of colour! if you keep the rest neutral I always think it gives a really fresh new vibe!!

Back Again! Missed Me?!
Hello hello hello, to all my lovely readers! Im finally back on my blog for good! And I have missed updating you all on my must haves and new wardrobe additions! However, before we get to talking about all the things you guys have missed over the last few months I better explain myself!
Since the recreation of my blog at the beginning of October a lot has happened so let me fill you in! At the end of October I moved my whole life up to Canterbury to live with my one and only! We have recently been in the process of getting a new flat and moving into a bigger better place than we are in now! We have also, very recently found out that im pregnant! So whether it be boy or girl I will be bringing in a little mini fashionista to the world around the end of June next year! So its been one thing after another basically and I just have not had a chance to get to my blog! Obviously Im starting to get a little baby bump now so im not going to be doing actual photography shoots for most of you guys, unless I am feeling reallyyyyy pretty that day and don't care how fat I look! During my pregnancy I'm going to dedicate one specific post a month to all you pregnant ladies out there! I will update you with everything that's happening to me from baby scans to what im managing to wear other than leggings! The rest of the time im going to be making the most of my polyvore account and creating outfits on there that are affordable and fabulous just like I always have!
Thank you for reading my crazy life story essay!
Lots of Love,
The English Rose!
New year, Same staples, New outfit
Hello everyone! just in case you hadn't guessed already! this post is all about using the things you already have to create a brand new look this dull boring January! (lets face it january is the worst month of the year as none of us have any money to have the 'new year.new wardrobe' attitude! So if you stayed on trend last year I know you got yourself some form of thigh high boots! well, those are going to go great with a simple long line jumper! I have left this outfit without jeans or tights, depending on how long your jumper is you may need one or the other! Or you can just tan up and brave the cold! Add a floppy hat to any outfit and your basically ready to go!
//TOP TIP//
Keeping a fresh new look with older clothes works so much better if you keep it neutral! Adding colour to any outfit dates it and leaves it to be remembered- not that thats a bad thing, but remember right now you cant afford a new jumper every time you have a date, So you really need to keep it simple!!
